Wowza!

Well, it has been FOREVER since I blogged. So much has happened in the past couple of months. I know I only have three followers...haha but it is okay! More will come someday; I am sure of it. Just so we are all on the same page here, I am currently laying on my couch and just finished icing my knee for the second time tonight. Want to know what happened? Perf, let me tell you. I was at a wedding. Yes, a wedding that I took work off for tonight which maybe I am a little bitter about. Anyways, I was walking to my car with my family after the ceremony/reception was over and I was in wedges which were totally cute, they matched my dress perfectly, and I have worn them many times. There was a slight hill that I was walking down and my knee totally buckled underneath me, and it felt like it snapped in half. I fell basically on my face, and I tried to grab onto my brother to catch my fall on the way down, but he was too far in front of me. So, there I am on my hands and knees in the road. My family turned around and was like, "what the heck happened?!" It hurt so bad. I couldn't get up, and still can't walk on it. I immediately started to panic that I had torn my ACL again. I limped to the car, and got home and just cried the whole time; the main reason being that I did not want to go through the long process of a torn ligament again! My dear bishop came over and looked at my knee, and the good news is that it is not my ACL. He thinks that it is just a sprain, but the medial side of my knee hurts so bad. I still can't walk! He thinks that I strained my MCL, but I have a feeling that I also tore my medial meniscus again because when I straighten my leg, it feels like my knee gets "caught" if that makes sense. If it is my medial meniscus, sometimes it can heal by itself and other times they have to go in and just scoop out the tear orthopedic-ally. I'm hoping that when I wake up tomorrow, it will be much better...luckily I have crutches so I don't have to hop around on my right foot, even though that was an awesome workout for that leg. Unfortunately, I need to get better besides the obvious reasons of being healthy! I need to work, and for part of my job I watch kids, and being on crutches and doing that is not the easiest! I had to have another one of my co-workers take my shift again tomorrow. :(

Well, before all of this nonsense happened, life has been good! Literally four days after I got home from Utah after finals, I went to Cancun with my family and it was absolutely beautiful and warm. Our resort was outstanding and it was hard to come back to reality. Once I came back, I started working. I am working at Hansen Park Fitness and also Broadmoor Fitness. Two different gyms that are owned by the same people. It has been great! It is a pretty chill, fun job. Life back home is different, but it has been good to see my family. My best guy friends Tyler Morgan and Jeff Mickelsen are officially in the MTC!! I am so proud of them. I miss them, but they are doing the Lord's work and will be blessed. Next Wednesday, this cute boy named Scott that I have a crush on is going to the MTC as well. It is all so bittersweet!

This morning I got up and went to a baptism session at the temple at 6:00 am! It was an early morning. Then I went to the doctor, bank and then bought some glasses, pots and pans and a new CTR ring today afterwards. I was so tired when I got home, and I knew that I had to take a nap before the wedding. The nap was like 5 hours long. It felt so great. Well, I better start getting ready for bed. It is going to take me a while to crutch around. PEACE AND BLESSINGS!

I'm Officially a Blogger

So, today is my first official blogging day! I created my blog about an hour ago thanks to the wonderful help of my beautiful roommate, Ashley Valli. There are so many color choices and styles to pick from when formatting things, and I became a little overwhelmed...But besides that fact, I think mine looks pretty sweet so far! Today was Easter Sunday, and I hope that everyone had enjoyed this wonderful holiday as much as I did. I went to the Valli's home, and had a delicious homemade meal and enjoyed the company of wonderful people. My sleeping schedule is very messed up right now, and I just ate the amount of sugar that 33 people should consume in one year's time period, so I am not tired. Plus, I feel sick and just want to barf.

I can't believe that my freshman college year is almost over! Two more weeks...it actually makes me kind of sad. No, let's be real. REALLY sad! It will be so hard to say goodbye to everyone. Yes, I will see people next year but some of my best guy friends are leaving on missions. Although this is a WONDERFUL thing, it will be hard to not see them for two years! This weekend was so great. I became a True Aggie on Friday night! I will try to post some pictures once I figure that out. Then on Saturday night, we had a big slumber party and pulled 3 of our mattresses out into the living room and had watched scary movies! It was great. I love my roommates, and am extremely blessed to have been assigned to live with them. I was thinking about how the decision to come to Utah State was by far one of the best ones that I have ever made. I couldn't imagine my college experience being spent anywhere else! I love it here, and am going to study super hard this week to prepare for finals! In order to do that, I need to catch some zzzz's so I better head off to bed. Ciao!
